Livescribe Pulse 2GB Smartpen Review
The Livescribe Smart Pen is now my great assistant for studying. I bought it three weeks ago and I love to bring it with me to attend every lesson. My friends said it was too expensive to spend $200 on the Pen but I think it is totally worthy of the price.
Of course, just like what is stated on its advertisement, it can record everything digitally, including sound and hand written notes. This simple task can actually be done by many other similar digital pen products on the market.
But the best thing is that I can use the pen to tap whatever word on the notes and then I can listen to what is taught about the particular word or topic. It saves lots of my time because I need not play the recording back and forth to find out the main points. Another feature is that the Pen allows me to slow down the speed of the recordings. It helps me clearly hear every word spoken by the tutor so that I will not miss anything.
I think the Pen is the best tool for lazy students. Even though I fall asleep in class, I can still get something from the notes and recording.
As one of my friends also has Livescribe Pen, we can do revision very easily and at any time we want. There is a piece of software called Livescribe Desktop accompanying the Pen. Yesterday I was sick so I did not go to school. I asked my friend to lend me the notes. With Livescribe Desktop, I could immediately get the notes because he could upload the notes to his computer and then post them onto the Livescribe Community where we can share files. It is only a bit more expensive than the normal paper but it brings me more that the normal ones cannot. It is worth buying the Pen and I really recommend every student to have one. It not only helps me get better academic result but I also build a closer relationship with my friends. All of us think studying is actually not that boring and hard.
